Mexican Rice Recipe
Ingredients:
Canola Oil
White rice
Cumin
Kosher Salt
Garlic
Chicken Broth
Tomato Sauce
Cilantro (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat 3tbsp oil on med heat.
- Add 1 cup white rice and stir continually until it starts to turn a golden brown color.
- Add 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2tsp kosher salt, and 2 chopped cloves garlic, cook for 1 more minute.
- Add 14oz (just under 2cups) of chicken broth Add 1/2 cup tomato sauce, sir.
- Bring to a boil, cover, lower heat and cook on low for 25 minutes.
- (Optional) Add 1/4c chopped cilantro after done and mix in.
